Does PA hose you like Georgia does? We use to pay a 25.00 one time fee to have our special tags made then it was ours and just regular fees each year like a normal tag. Then they changed the law and now everyone even those with tags before the new law pays 35.00 a year plus the regular tag fee of 20.00 bucks to run any tag other than state issue. I had two and turned them in and took the state issue.

One time fee of 76.00 and registration in PA for my truck is 76 a year I think so you got it way better than me.

Count yourselves lucky you don't live in the UK - a vanity plate there sold for more than 1/2 million pounds (around 3/4 million dollars).

Ga law changed in 2012, if you haven't "sold" your truck since then are you still paying ad valorem taxes?

That sucks!

My PA Vet plate was (I think) $50 and is $36/yr renewal. I have mine registered as a passenger vehicle so legally I can't tow anything over like 5,000 lbs which I never do anyway so is all good for me.
