I'm on my second fill up for this new new/used 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 and both times after the gas pump shut-off fuel Spilled Out of the filler neck, is it just me or do they all do this?

Known issue, I'm going through it but only because I replaced my stock 26 gallon with a 32 gallon. Only option is warranty where they'll replace the tank or you'll have to replace the tank yourself.

Mine did that the first time I filed up. Nozzle all the way in and full throttle on the pump. Since then I leave the nozzle out a little and run it on low or medium. Haven't had a problem since that first one. If I'm in a hurry I'll go full speed till it gets close then back down. I never put more in after it clicks either. Tried that once too. Splashed a little gas out after adding about $.25

slow the fill rate down , do not push the nozzle all the way in , you are sealing in and causing too much cavatation that air needs to escape

Try different pumps (stations) as well. I know mine has never done it at certain pumps, but will do it every time at other pumps (I know which gas stations). I fill up the same way every time too. I just avoid the ones that I know will do it.

My only problem with spillage is when I try and top it off. Once it clicks off I'll add a little more to make sure its really full and it didn't do it on its own. That's it. Anything more and fuel will spill out.

This happens to me from time to time. I think I might be sticking it in too far, which I am known to do...

I was just at the dealership the other day and a guy with a new Rubicon complained of the issue and the service manager said it was common but they will look into it. I never experienced it personally on my Ram though.
