Car freshener!

Lol this should be a fun post. So eventually that new car scent wears off and its up to us to keep the vehicle smelling nice. What do yall use?
Ive always used coconut scents since most of the new car scents generally suck. But there have been a few good ones over the years i just cant find them anymore.
BUT i stumbled upon the Yankee candle smart scent clips. A buddy had the leather ones in his truck and though they didn't actually smell like leather i did like them.

Still trying to figure out how my other buddy's CTS-V smells like an aircraft. I grew up around them so its a scent i like. Wierd :favorites13:

Chemical Guys leather scent is really good. Pure Citrus is REALLY good at cutting oders FAST. I keep a can next to my desk... in case dinner comes to haunt the next day. And, if you need to defunk your truck, the Meguires Whole Car is a great bomb.

Generally just black ice. Hang the little tree in the storage space behind my seat. Or sometimes yankee candle midsummers night or something.

Some people spray it on the carpet. Some spray it into a rag and place that in their truck/car.

I bought a box of the Nu Car Wonder Wafers the last year. I can switch them out every other week and I still haven't run out yet.

Working at an import dealer, I have always used those Japanese 'squash' fresheners. Since my truck is 1500 miles still new, it hasn't yet needed to be freshened.

edit: they don't last for ****, but they smell good, IMO.

That McGuire's fogger one works great if you have a stubborn odor.
set interior hvac control to recir. let truck run for about 5 minutes and fogger too.
The scents aren't really strong and over bearing BUT that's just what I think

I just keep a fresh bag of Captain Black pipe tobacco in the glove box. I don't even smoke it. It doesn't last very long, but by god that's what a truck should always smell like.

My wife picks up some car scent clips at Bath & Body. Usually gets a bunch when they have big sales going on. She gets me the more "manly" scents for the truck. Usually something like fall leaves, or forest type smells. It works.

I like the smell of dust from a gravel road and the dried blood and hair from skinning an Elk and tossing the knives and such on the carpet in the back seat. Mud n **** on the carpets and leaves in the vents. That's my truck.
