Anybody ever had to replace one from their 4th Gen? Looks like I had one slip off my key ring today and it seems lost forever. How much does the dealer charge for a new one and how long does it take?

It depends on your trim. If you have the keyless enter-and-go (push button start), the fobs get pricier.

I do have that with my Longhorn, and my dealership has them in stock typically. Didn't ask about a spare for mine when we got the 2014, as it came with both keys. On my 2013 when we bought it last year (same fobs), it only came with one, and I negotiated a second one into the purchase at no cost to me. Salesman told me they were $300 and some odd dollars (he gave me an exact number, but I cannot recall what it was, just that it was over $300 but less than $400). That was for fob, programming, and cutting the "manual" key that slides into the fob.

I guess I'll add that it's a Tradesman with the key fob that sticks into the dash to start. Sounds like it varies dealer to dealer.

I have a 2015 keyless entry and remote start. My dog ate mine and I got one from amazon for $50.00 used and dealer charged me 65.00 to program it. Every thing works but you have to be careful buying used. It must be reset before the dealer can program it.

If you don't have OEM remote start...now is the time to add it. You'll get two new keys, someone on another thread said they got it installed for $400ish. Seems worth it to pay $200 something more for two new keys and the remote start...but that's just me.

I bought an OEM fob on ebay for around $80 and I think it cost $60.00 to have it programmed at the dealership. That was for my 2014 tradesman.

Locksmith may be able to program it for cheaper.
