Man I love my 1/2'er but these 2500's are beautiful, especially in black. Few more years and I will definitely be trading up. Good choice.

Thanks. I particularly like the 6.4L HEMI. :D

Very nice, looks rough and tough. I didn't think the 2500's had MDS? Also what does the flapper valve in the exhaust do? Is it just controlled by a spring?

The 6.4L HEMI powered 2500's have MDS. 3rd generation 2500's, like my 5.7L MC, did not.

The flapper valve, also found in SRT LX cars such as the Challenger, Charger and 300, is purely mechanical, so nothing with the MDS actually operates it. It is strictly driven by pressure and it's main function is to create back pressure, especially at low flow/low RPM situations.

Thanks for the info. Is the back pressure to help with torque?

Great looking truck man. What % tint did you add to rear? And what did you end up on the side fronts?

I thought all 2500's needed clearance lights from the factory as it was a DOT thing

Those look awesome! I like the Nfabs, but the wife doesn't. Guess who doesn't have Nfabs...

You? :roflsquared:

The wife mentioned she felt like she had to step up higher into this truck and didn't like it.

She said I needed to get some steps like I had on the 2007 MegaCab and I meekly replied, "Yes, Dear."

:naughty:

I tried fitting the molded Weathertechs but they won't work. I may have to go with a universal flap and drill more holes.

You went with -18mm offset? They stick out farther than stock? I want to order rims but I want the option later to move to 35s. But I don't want to stick out to far..... Good looking rig
