Just picked up my 12' bighorn quad cab in phoenix, :big_banana_Dance::big_banana_Dance:

driving back to SD and it had been heavy raining the past 3 days there, flash floods everywhere, I was south of phx heading west on highway 238 towards Gila Bend, and passed a few big flooded areas then got up to this one. I was the second truck to pull up, there was a ford ranger pulled up to the side and I pulled up to talk to him, he was like "I wasent sure about this one, I was gonna see if someone else went first" I was like "lol well I aint going first"
so we waited for a couple minutes to think about it and a Chevy 1500 pulled up and the guy got out and looked at it and was like "this ****** chevy wont make it but you could just gun it in that hemi" :peace: I was like lol i dunno, then a couple road workers pulled up in a lifted 2500 and was like "this road should of been closed hours ago, you guys all gotta turn around, 3 inches of running water will move a full size truck" I did not know that. So remember that tip.

For the truck, drives soooooo smoooth, amazing, great AC, its like im driving a 4x4 lazy boy couch down the road at 80mph, great truck, love it

sorry for the wall of words, didnt get an english degree

3" of moving water? How fast is that water going?! 1,500 MPH?!

I've been cruising around the flooded streets of Abq for years. Just Friday on my way to an appointment, I couldn't even see the curb / sidewalks it was washed out so badly. At no point did I feel the truck get 'light'.

3"... pffft. maybe a dodge neon!

I think he was saying 3 inches of running water, not standing pools, like a river crossing a road like the picture. He also said AZ fines you 5 grand if you get stuck/swept away in a flash flood, f that lol

I hear ya, Abq is basically on a giant slope, it's pretty rapid flowing water.
I'm just saying, I've driven in worse. :-D

Very nice truck indeed! I wouldn't have driven through that in my new truck either.

yea I dunno about the 3 inch stat but the water was moving pretty fast, you can see the middle has some small rapids, the picture doesnt really do it justice tho. The road workers might of just been saying that to keep us trucks from going, as to be safe. glad I didnt go and get my truck swept away in the first 12 hours of owning it and a 5 thousand dollar fine from AZ tho lol
