lol Yea. I got a decent deal.

And the 3.92 is much better than the 3.21 I had in the last one.

If you would of gotten a sport it would of cost less. I have the same options in a sport, less the black badging for 49,*** sticker. I powder coated the wheels for $400. I used the truck builder online to find out whats the best bang for the buck.

That’s a good looking truck.
Can’t wait to see more pics.

Were you able to take any accessories off of your old truck before it went to the salvage sale?
I was an a similar situation once and when I went to the impound yard to get “personal items” out of the truck - I also got the weathertech mats, after market stereo, sub box with amp, center console lock box... sadly all of the exterior mods were trashed in the wreck.

I was able to pull most of my stuff. Side steps are gonna be a new purchase. Drivers side was damaged. Only add-on I haven’t put back on yet is my Carven Progressive muffler. It’s been to cold to want to lay in the garage / driveway.

Here are a couple I posted in the What did you do to your 4th Gen (or however it’s titled).

There are a few differences. And I got a great price. It pays to know people sometimes.

Plus I don’t have time to to black out wheels and stuff. I’m on the highway all week.

Sweet truck! I factory ordered my Granite 2018 Night Edition and it just came in last week. Definitely a rare beast on the roads - if I ever see the granite crystal with black RAM on the back, it's usually a Rebel. Enjoy the new truck!

Someone else can chime in...but I'll give my take:

3.21: Bit better mileage 1-2mpg, RPM's a bit lower at speed
3.92: Bit better acceleration off the line, bit better towing (more immediate power)

There are numerous members happy with their 3.21's. Lots of other people are happy with their 3.92's. Its all personal choice.

One thing though...for the most part...get what you want from the factory or when you buy it. Its a cheap upgrade ($95?) to 3.92's when you buy a new one...but to change them out later can be much more costly.

Just my observations from info I've gathered from people here over the months.

The reason I went with the 3.21 last time was for mileage. I don’t tow anything more than a motorcycle or two at times. If I need to haul anything big I have a CDL, I can rent or borrow anything if needed. I like the torque and launch of the taller gear. I should’ve known better. Glad I got the 3.92 now.
