I have had my 2016 Ram 2500 Cummins a little over a month now I just wanted to share with everybody I think I love her more than I did my 2015 Ram 1500 with the 5.7 hemi. It is hard to describe in words why I like it more except that it just seems to fits me better. Also, I find it very amusing that my wife enjoys driving it more than she did the Ram 1500 and she loved it more than the Ford F150.

It's a great engine; I miss my 16' 2500 most on road trips. My current Hemi/8 speed truck is great but it definitely is not the same. Not having a diesel truck is proving to be much more difficult than I anticipated. Even the wife misses it.

Congrats on your truck.

I've had mine (4x4 version) for 7 months and about 9000 miles. So far, best vehicle I've ever had (knock on wood). It saved the last month of duck season for me this year. My '04 1500 Hemi 2x4 would have never made it down the flooded out road to the wildlife area I hunt at... file-jan-28-8-41-46-pm_hdr.jpg
img_6909_hdr.jpg ...that was a lot deeper than it looks too. Just suffice to say I'm glad the door seals are good otherwise I would have had muddy water on the floorboard.

Well, i agree! I've had mine for 2 months now and i love it. I traded up from a 15, 1500 Silverado 1500 and it's the best move I've made. It's 3Xs the truck that Silverado was. Like i told my wife after i got the truck home "now we have something. That thing is a piece of equipment! " :)

The Silverado was highly optioned, my ram is s tradesman, but i don't miss any of that fancy crap personally. I had a 1997 2500 series ram also and liked that truck too.

If i can afford it, I'll have a 2500 or 3500 series truck going forward

Mind if I ask what brand of side steps/running boards you have on your Ram?

I like those steps, for the price though it's a hard decision between those and my N-Fab's.

Well, since the price on those went up if I were doing it again I think I'd go with the N-Fab's since the price difference isn't that much. Just MHO of course.
