3.21 and never had any issue with the ones i had in my lonestar pulled anything i needed to .Love it! What gears?
Thanks , has anyone been able to swap out gears on a 4x4 yet ?
Yeah i was just wondering , i am not going to unless i feel the need to but had head a while back that the front was welded in or something like that .Didn't you just say that you never had a problem with the 3.21. I've had 2 and never felt like I was missing anything.
The 3.92 gears will only net you about 2k in towing. Which quite honestly, with a 1500 is kinda pushing imo anyways. Can't really see a justification to go with higher gears personally. You'll get the best mpg with what you got .

Please stopppppppppppppppppGoing to 3.92 will net exactly 0 pounds in towing. He would still be limited to his factory rating because that's what the placard says.
