Jay

Please let us know the outcome. I'd kinda like to know how effective they are in helping to resolve problems. They seem sincere, but I assume they have their limitations also. Good Luck with your problem

I cannot for the life of me remember owning a vehicle that throws a CEL and the dealer is not able to access the stored code.
My understanding is if the CEL is still active the code can be read, but if it was a intermittent code it gets stored in a system that the dealer cannot access.
What fricking sense does that make???

i have to say usually pretty good.

i also have a '15 chrysler 200 that had an issue and they contacted me as soon as i made a post about an issue and wanted to get the ball rolling. every day they were pm'ing me about how it was going until the fix happened.

i also use to have a '13 camaro and had an issue and made a post on a camaro site and they also helped alot.

OP i hate to say it, but i think you will need to document the times it goes on and when they cant fix it and look into lemon law. unfortunately its a lot of waste of time for you but its what may need to happen. in my state the vehicle need to be in for the same thing 3 times.

more than likely once you get a lawyer and they send fca a letter they will take in back right away.

Is the CEL on consistently? Has the dealership been able to duplicate? Thanks! - Kevin T, Social Connect Team

In NY its 3-4 times. Unless they can't find a way to fix then lemon law applies a immediately. I will wait until fca's reply. Then I will make decision whether to go ahead with lemon law stuff
