I'm trying to find out if you can lower the back of the truck a quarter of an inch or more has anybody done this yet the stock air ride starts at 2 inches low low lowered and 1.7 on the rear I'd like to make a 2-inch I'm both on

I'm guessing it's a no go. The only way your going lower is to remove something which I doubt is possible with air ride.

Is .3 really going to make that much of a difference for you?

The truck will have ride height sensors that are attached to the axle by a rod. You can play with the length of the rod to trick the system into giving you more or less ride height. There is an outfit that sells adjustable rods, but they are a bit pricey. I wouldn't adjust ride height more than a half inch or so, however.
