Hey All, I'm right on the edge or ordering up some bilstein 24-187367 5100 for the front of my 2011 outdoorsman. Amazon says they don't fit? What is different with outdoorsman 1500 heavy duty front shocks vs the Standard 1500 shocks? Is it the strut itself that is different or is the lower CA different?

I have 60K on the truck and it rides fine and I considered spacers but I hate doing things twice so I planned to spend the extra coin and get the Bils..

Thoughts?

They'll fit no problem. The only difference on an Outdoorsman is the front struts which gives them that slightly height increase over the rest of the trim levels. So by removing the OEM struts you lose that height but that can obviously be gained back with the Bilsteins no problem.

thanks, I currently have a 3.25 in rake.. I like a little rake, no more than a 1" would be ideal. Do the Bilsteins settle down to 2.1 and 2.8 or do they start there??.. Trying to figure out which setting to go with...

They pretty much stay at whatever they're set at as they use the OEM springs which have already been broken in. The only thing that will make the truck settle is getting the front end alignment done after a level/lift.

That seems like a lot of rake for an outdoorsman. I have a 2013 outdoorsman and it only has 1.5" rake from the factory.
