My Ram Night with BDS Lifted on 37's

Well guys after months of deliberation, researching parts/lifts/tires/wheels and seeing all the nice setups people have here, I finally decided to lift mine. Just like others here, I went back-n-forth between leveled, 4" or 6", 35's or 37's etc. I have 3.92 gears and decided to just go for it and have the BDS 6" installed with Bilstein 6112 front struts @ 2.60" and the 5" rear coils with Bilstein rear shocks. I dropped the truck off 10/09 and picked it up Friday the 13th. Driving home I was surprised at how well it rides, its so smooth I couldn't believe it. You feel bumps in the roads but it just glides over them like there nothing, kinda hard to explain but I'm very happy with ride comfort.

Fender measurements:
Before: Front 36.75 and Rear 39.5 (2.75 rake)
After: Front and Rear both at 46.25

Parts List:
1. BDS Suspension Lift 6” front with optional 5” rear coils P/N 671H.
2. Zone Offroad Heavy Duty Upper Control Arm kit P/N D2301.
3. Bilstein 6112 60MM front struts with coils set @ 2.60” P/N 47-242548.
4. Bilstein 5100 46MM rear shocks P/N 33-185569 w/superlift 77-80038.
5. KMC XD-832 Wheels 20X9 -12mm offset 5x139.7 Hubcentric Satin Black
6. Yokohama Geolandar M/T G003 37X12.50R20 P/N 33337 (76.7 LBS).

I don't have any nice offroad pics or scenic background photos yet, just a few driveway shots but here it is anyway :)

Thanks everyone, I had been planning this for awhile, buying a few parts as I went along. I was going to get the Zone lift, but my local shop is a BDS dealer and he gave me a deal on the BDS that I couldn't refuse. The flares are a Mopar part made in USA, they came on the 2016 Ram Rebel Mopar '16 limited edtion.

Sharp ride Jb! How about tire clearance with the flares?? Mine couldn’t have worked out any better. Tires just hit end of flare edge so i’m Legal. That’s big thing in P.a. Cops eat you up over it. Very sharp truck man, you did it right. I know it’s not always cheapest route but can’t figure out why everyone wants to cut corners??

Thanks, the flares turned out great, I didn’t need the big bushwacker flares so these fit my -12mm offset just right. Flares aren’t enforced here in Texas and the truck looked good w/o them but I didn’t want rock chips so I added them.

I had a budget to try and stick too and it wasn’t easy lol. I wanted certain brand items so I just waited till they were on sale or had a discount code. Ordered everything online except the tires were from discount tire, lift was from local shop and flares from local dealership. All things online were mostly tax free with free shipping so that also saved me $$.

Could you measure the coverage on your flares? Tried to find the measurements, but was unable to. Looking for something that sticks out a little less than the bushwackers. And again, truck looks really sick. Good choices!

I measured from the center of the mtg bolt to the outside edge was 2-3/4”. I guess you could measure a truck without flares from “bolt to edge” of metal then deduct that from the 2-3/4” and that would give the actual additional coverage of the flares outside the fenders.

I know bushwacker claims 3” but that may be from outside fender edge to outside edge of flare. I actually bought a set of the white bushwacker pockets but paint didn’t match so I sent them back. I didn’t reorder in black because they were too large for my needs. It would be nice if you can get a “bolt to edge” measurement of other flares for comparison.

Looks tight!

I knew you were getting close to pulling the trigger because you've been asking a lot of questions the last couple months. Your homework paid off because that thing is sharp indeed.

What is the final lift height to the top of the antenna?

Man that looks perfect. Even the front driveshaft angles arent too steep. Bet its a blast to drive. The numbers are 10 inches of front lift, that is crazy.
