hello there fellow ramers,
so here am i standing between those choices . should i get a 2" or 4" lift kits ?
and which brand is better for me knowing that this is my daily use ride so i need a smooth ride on the road and of it .

my friends tell me to choose fox brand or king (which are locally available to me no hassle) , but id rather to hear from someone that owns a ram and knows what am looking for .

thanks in advance .

What you're looking for in terms of lift amount is entirely up to you and what you're trying to go for. Are you wanting to run bigger tires? Fox and King are shock manufacturers, they may make some adjustable shocks, but not lift kits. A 2" lift is most likely going to be made to level out the truck, whereas a 4" would have either 4" all around or some more in the front, kits differ.

Lot's of guys will tell you that if you go with the 4", you'll regret not going with the 6" (which once again depends on preference). Is your truck a 4x4?

Yeah what Revo said. Do you want to level the truck, or lift the truck? Huge price difference as well. You're looking at $2500+ for a suspension lift and maybe $600 for a leveling kit.

My truck has a 2" level and 3" body lift. It cost me $1900 installed.

Then you need to think about tires. With a level you can use your stocks..if you lift you'll want 35's minimum. Are you trying to maintain fuel mileage, or does that matter?

For leveling I'd recommend Bilstein adjustable shocks

For a suspension lift I'd recommend Zone or BDS

It's an older pic of the truck when I had the light bar off lol. I wiped out in a swamp into water with my phone in my pocket and lost all my pics from the last 2 months. I have to take some new ones of the truck to replace the ones I lost lol

I'm not a 'pro' but if your trying to get a general idea of what your ram might look like. This is mine with a 4.5" lift in the front and 1.5" rear. I personally don't want it any higher and it still rides smooth. I also use it as my daily ride and only notices my mpg went down from 22.3 to 20.5.

Im going to post both, My 13 and 04.

My 13 has a 2.5 inch lift in the front nothing in the rear, im running 33s

My 04 has 3 inch in front add a leaf in the rear. I ran 35's with minimal rubbing,
My 13 Cost about 350 for lift alone but i did tires so new tires mount balance and lift came to about 1400

04 was already done when i bought it added 35's
