Hey guys. Names john.
I just got a 2014 ram 1500 4x4 quad cab.
I want to pick a small lift in it 1.5-2.5 some where in that range. I see a few but being totally new to the truck would I'm looking for opinions on what are the good brands and what are the bad ones. Also and tips would be appreciated.

Thanks guys

Go with the bilsteins 5100 adjustables up front and set them to 2.8 and you'll get your desired lift in the front. It will make the truck sit level.

The only issue with those is they just level the truck. I like the look of the rake and would like to keep that look with the lift

I did the bilsteins in the front of mine at 2.8 and put a 1" spacer on the rear springs. Keeps a little take and looks good.

Or you could set the front at 2.1 and forget the spacer. Still left me with about 1.25" rake YMMV.
