Wondering what lift kits are available that literally bolt on. No welding, done in the driveway, maybe a bit of angle grinder cutting but nothing major. Only looking for a small lift. Or is this just a dream??

I believe the Zone and Rough Country only require cutting of the crossmember(s). No welding on either one that I can recall from reading through the instructions or watching the video.

Correct. Most lift kits do not require any welding at all. Maybe an air gun to help with the bolting/unbolting processes and need to grind off a crossmember.

No cutting? Bilstein 5100 strut, rear coil spacers and 1.5"
Or 3" body lift.

Requires cutting front cross member. All 4wd 4" - 6" suspension lift kits.

Thanks guys ! Seen so many of those offroad shows where the torch is used more than a wrench.

I have the 5100 but haven't put them in. Don't have a large enough spring compressor.

So do 4" lift kits level as well or would it work along with the 5100's?

You would use the 5100 struts to level out the front. The settings you'd use would be based on how much rake your truck currently has.

Most use a torch as there is a chunk of steel on the frame that needs to be removed for the drop brackets. If you have good metal saw you can do it in the driveway. Im sure it will be a pain the rear but it can be done.

You can get the install direction from any of the makers, you will see they all need the same cut. Not hard just measure 13 times.
