Need a quick answer. Installing Pro Comp 6" on 2014 Ram 1500 4x4. I planned to run it at 8" with Mevotech UCAs. However instead of cranking the Coilovers I decided to use 2" leveling kit on top instead stiffening the ride. Just finished a side and my fender measurements are 47.5" with 33s lol. Way too high. My CV are screaming! Wondering if the Coilovers come set at a different height? I have about an inch and half of threads showing in the shock body. I know I can take the level off just wondering if anyone had any experience with this.

never use a leveling kit with a lift kit....the geometry will be all messed up.

I have to disagree but that's ok. I didn't add "yet another spacer". Coilovers were cranked about 2" so I decranked them and left the leveling kit. It's no different then when I ran Coilovers on my Silverado and had the mounts made 1" longer so I could get the extra Height without cranking. The ride is great, I'm happy with my results. 46" front 45" rear on stockers and 33s

Gonna have to get the alignment Monday I suppose. Waiting on MrWheelDeal, not sure how long it will be till I get my dang wheels and tires. Gonna run 20x12s and 35s for now. May step up to 37s but I doubt it. I need to trim the inner tie rods a bit to get my toe in a bit more. Ran out of adjustment. The ride is amazing actually. Much better than with the 2.5" leveling kit. Sometimes I'd hit bumps and feel like my truck would want to jerk really bad. Not any more, much more stable and smooth. Wife was surprised.

Also having the Amp power steps are much more practical now haha.

i didn't set them to stock height. I bought the Coilovers for the 6" kit and ran a 2" spacer on it so I didn't have to crank to 8". I set my Coilovers to 6" and ran a 2" spacer to gain the extra 2" I wanted. I've ridden with Coilovers cranked 2-2.5" and its a stiff ride. I don't understand where all the judgment is coming from. All good though. I am extremely happy with the ride.

In the picture the Mevotech boot looks pretty stretched , are you partially jacked up or full weight of the truck on the ground ?
Never heard of procomp or bils set to stock height + a spacer ? I'd be afraid of 4x4 vibes while bouncing ? How much front differential drop does the procomp 6" kit provide ?
Keep us informed on how it continues to operate! Truck will look awesome on 37" tires . What diff gears and speed xsmn do you have Sir ?
I love that color !
Good luck .

Well it looks cool.
May be stiff with or without a spacer, may just be how them springs feel.

Got it aligned today. Much better ride than with the 2.5" level. Every time I'd hit a certain part of road going home it felt like the truck would
Want to lose control, plus my damn UCA Balljoint squeaked like a fat ladies wheel chair and popped on turns. I'm very happy with the ride and handling. Retorqued everything, now I'm just waiting on my darn wheels and tires from Mr Wheel Deal. Local shop wanted 1200 for install and 4-5 days... Glad I did it myself even though it was a pain in my ass lol.
