Is it safe to drive on stock wheels after lift is installed (to pick up wheels/tires)

All,

I am having a MaxTrac Suspension 7" lift installed on my 2015 Ram 1500 (20x9 wheels).

I am having the lift installed at a shop, then planned on driving over to Discount Tire (45 minute drive) to have the new wheels and tires put on by my buddy who is a manager there.

The shop owner mentioned he didn't know if they stock wheels were able to be put back on with the new spindles that come with the lift. Has anybody heard of this?

Thanks!

Can your buddy get the new wheels and tires mounted and balanced eso you can take them with you to the shop so the shop can put them on after lift is installed

Your rims will most likely hit the tie rods so they won't be able to be put on. If you have 1.5 wheel spacers, it should fit

They will be fine. I have the same kit and still run stock wheels with 37s with no spacers

The spindles push the wheels out about 1.5" further than the stock spindles and that helps to clear them
