Hey just curious about everyone's thoughts on buying a used lift kit. It's for a 2wd so it's just the cast iron spindles from cst. And the rear spacer in the back. They were on the guys truxk for 20k miles. He said he just took it off and lowered his truck. If I buy it you think I should get new brakelines or do you think the used would be ok? It's a pretty good price too!!

Thanks in advance

I'd think you would be ok going that route. Maybe reach out to Sean and maxtrac and see if he can send you a bill of materials to make sure it is complete. And blowing some air through the line before install and a visual inspection of the outside of the line for abrasion and/or wear you should be all set

You'll love the kit by the way. I have it and it's great. Ready to throw some more on it to really get it in the air

Good luck

I'm still on the stockers for now till they wear out but I've got plans for 37s and 4.56 gears once I get more lift

You'll be able to go up to a 35x12.50 with the 4.5" spindles

Reo cook do you have aftermarket shocks in rear? Does anybody know if I can still run my airlift 1000s?

I used my stock ones but my kit came with them. Stocks are just long enough to still have travel with the spacer. Plus the top bolt on the driver side shock is a PITA to get to with my 32 gallon tank. Once I put my body lift on I'll be able to access the bolt easier and will be swapping out the shocks so I can make my new spacers for the rear to get rid of the negative rake I have. I'm sitting about 3/4" higher in the front right now.

Since it's a spacer I don't think you'll have any issues with the bags.
