Finally was able to buy new tires for My RAM today. Was running the Wrangler SRAs that came on it when I bought it as a CPO back in February. It was a rental fleet vehicle so they probably replaced with whatever the truck came with stock. Money is tight right now so I went with the Milestar Grantlands. They are supposedly made by Cooper, and so far they seem to be working fine.
I was going to go to a A/T tire, but it would have just been for looks since I don't ever go offroad and its a 2WD truck. The tread is deep and mildly aggressive for a H/T tire. Got them for 522.00 OTD with lifetime balance and rotation. They will also repair the tire in case of puncture for the lifetime of the tire. They are rated as 50,000 mile tire, so with my current driving trends should last around 1.5 years if properly maintained. So, if you want a no nonsense tire and are on a budget, give these a look. So, far they are very quiet and smooth.
