If I need to change the brake pads from the front do I have to change the ones in the back as well? Or can I wait to do those if I see no major wear? Thanks

If you change out the front pads to a different type, say one that has more bite, then I would change all four corners. You want each corner appropriately contributing to braking.

Rule of thumb is that every 3rd front brake change, the rear gets it on the third time, but it also depends on how you drive to. If they are less than 1/4" change them.

Thanks everyone. Great info from everyone. Now it's time for me to change some brake pads.
