I need a new HCU and given I can not find parts I am going to take it out and send it to xemodex for repair. Not concerned about how to get the HCU out, but I have never done a brake bleed before.

Question is, can I just go through the steps for the Abs auto bleed after replacement or do I need to bleed the entire brake system.?

What are the steps to an "auto bleed"? Would there be a reason for not wanting to do a system bleed? It isnt hard at all to bleed the brakes, especially if you have a tire torque stick and an impact diver for the lugs. Even if you do it right you probably gonna have air in the brakes, so you will need a flash with that, or scan tool.
