My brakes have started to squel on my 2015 2500 with 17,500 mi. I haven't had time to check the pads but surely they should last longer than this. Has anyone had to replace their pads at this point in mileage? Thanks.

At that mileage they should still have life left to them unless you tow a lot or there's a problem somewhere. I would check them or have someone check them to be sure. It could be that they got glazed from overheating but still have plenty of pad left.

They are metallic so a bit of brake dust in there will make them squeal too. Maybe try just blasting them with brake kleen before pulling your wheel off to check.

I pulled the wheels off have plenty of pads left. Lots of road dust and dirt. Sprayed brake cleaner and no more noise.
