I had these mounted yesterday. They ride smoother than the stock GYs and the look a heck of a lot better. They are rated "XL", so towing should be safer with them compared to the factory rubber. I'll find out the next time i tow the jeep to the off-road park. The tread pattern kinda reminds me of the Nitto terra grapplers I had on my previous Ram 1500. I found a great deal on eBay, ~$450 to my door, seller was discount tires direct(they currently are offering a $100 off coupon code). I had them mounted at my local Discount Tire store for ~$80, which included new TPM sensors, free rotations and balances the life of the tire. These will hold me over until I'm ready to lift it and upgrade to 35s, if that ever happens.

Mounted dimensions: Height is about 32.5", tread width is about 10". c7dcf25625bf86b58b5bafd9c87858f8.jpg

It may be too soon to tell, but, have you noticed any change in mileage?

I had a set of Coopers very similar to those on my old F150 and really liked them. Cooper will get 1st look when it comes time for new shoes on the Ram.

So far I haven't noticed a change in mpg. I'll update after some highway trips.

I had those exact tires on my 08 Ram. I liked them very much for the first couple of years. I wanted the xl raring for pulling the camper. I managed about 30k miles before they were shot. Granted I run a lot of gravel roads.

I read elsewhere that the treadwear is short lived as well. The rubber compound does feel a little bit soft but that's ok with me for the price paid and the fact that they seem stick to the road like they're glued. These tires, with the LSD, break loose so much less than the Nitto TG's and open diff. that i had before. Even with the worn out factory GYs it was a night and day difference with the LSD, really. No more one wheel peel when merging into fast moving traffic...

I also just purchased these tires for my 2011. I like them a lot so far. I've put about 2000 miles on them. 711f4fa3fe14baef062856adc41b8074.jpg

I had these tires on my previous truck and had them replaced twice under warranty due to premature side wall cracking, could not trust them anymore and had to ditch them early. Its sad when the company acknowledges they have a problem and claim its not a safety issue but you would definately not pass a safety check.

First I've heard of this and I read every review I could find before purchasing. Thanks for the info I'll keep an eye on them.

They were the nicest looking and performing tires i had on my ram when pulling my 32' travel trailer.
The cracks always started at the bead and went outward

What year was it when you experienced this problem with these tires?

summer 2015 first set was replaced. september 2016 was 2nd set after waiting for cooper sales rep to deliver a set right off the line. When i traded my truck for my current 2017 in November the dealer had to replace the tires because they failed a safety inspection. Once the crapyears on my 2017 wear down i will be getting BFG ko2 have a buddy who has them and they are awesome

Update.. 400 mile highway trip. Ride is great. Smooth, balanced. Heavy rain, no problem. Mud and Georgia clay, they handle it just as good as terra grapplers. Side walls held up to a creek crossing full of granite stones. The tread width is noticeably wider than the stock GY SRA's, which improves traction and aesthetics IMO. MPGs are the same if not a hair better.
