Okay, i know many of you are using n-Fab steps and I do like the looks of them however just wondering if anyone uses a hoop style step anymore? There were some DeeZee boards on my truck when I bought it but I have since removed due to appearance. I can get in and out just fine but any passengers and especially my wife would appreciate a step.
Buying some OEM bars seems pointless because they really don't drop down all that far. This is one reason why I like the n-Fab ones. A much cheaper option would be some drop hoops like these. Carr Hoop II Step Dodge Ram Quad Cab 2009-2015
What I don't like is having to drill holes into the rocker and pinch welds.
So, does anyone know of a drop step or hoop that would mount to the factory mounting points? Or is this not possible due to the location of them?
It would seem then that the N-Fab bars are my only option?
