I was wondering if anyone has a pics of ebay fender flares, both textured pocket with rivets, and textured oem style flares from both the side and the front of the truck?

I have a 2015 tradesman CC 4wd in granite crystal metallic. I think the textured flares will look good on my truck as they will likely match my upper bumper and not look out of place with the matte black bumpers.

I have good year duratracs that are factory size on factory wheels and they throw all sorts of rock from my 600' gravel driveway all over my truck. I am trying to prevent any damage but I fear the pocket flares will look stupid. At the same time, I am afraid the oem hug the body too tightly and wont protect my paint beyond the 2" or so of flare.

Ebay has both styles for under 150$ shipped so money is not much of a consideration. I have no desire to get wider wheels/tires and intend on keeping my wheels and tires stock size.

Comments, questions, opinions, snide remarks?

I ordered mine from eBay from the company DTMoto who ive had nothing but amazing experiences with. Great company. Paid $148 for these.

Fitment was perfect. Quality was decent. Look was great.

Ended up trading them for a set of paint matched oem 1500 flares because i traded those wheels in the above pictures for a set of stock 20" chrome clads and the pocket style flares no longer looked right on my truck with the stock wheels sucked into the wheel wells lol.

I appreciate the pictures. the dtmoto's are the exact ones I am looking at. Im afraid they will look stupid with my stock wheels and tire size. Nice looking truck btw. I love that color.

These aren't textured but Tyger Auto ordered on Amazon for about the same price.

Stock 20 inch wheels although I went an inch taller on tires and 1.5" wheel spacers to stick them out a bit more.

Yea mine didnt look right with the stock 20" chrome clads. If you buy 1.25" or 1.5" wheel spacers, they would look fine with stock wheels.

I recently bought the bushwacker pocket flares. On my last truck, I bought 2 different sets of Ebay flares and the ol saying of "you get what you pay for" definitely was true there. the fitment was off and the quality sucked. I'd rather just pay a little more and have the perfect fitment of the bushwackers and the warranty that comes with them. But I'm sure there are good, cheap sets of flares out there - I just never found them lol

I bought a $135 set from eBay for my third gen and they stuck up the truck about 3-1/2" in the back, I really didn't like them. Looks like my truck has hips now. It's hard to get an idea from some of the low info descriptions on eBay

I have the ebay non textured , non pocket style on my 3rd gen. They fit perfect and look great. I'd suggest not painting them on a 4x4 because they always get rock chips.

I ordered a set off of Ebay. They were well made. They actually looked like Bushwacker ones without the stampings on the inside.

I painted them to match my truck and put them on. And I took them off 2 hours later and sold them! haha I didn't like the look.

I like the red shackle in the rear. Actually just ordered one yesterday and planning to paint it red. I just painted the tow hooks...visible in one of the pics above in this thread.

Did you paint yours or buy it that way?

Please don't buy the cheap ones off of ebay.....they dont fit correctly, have gaps, etc.

I bought Rough Country and they were less than $300 but fit perfect, no issues and no gaps....

Zogg do you have a picture from either the front or the back to see how far the flares stick out?
