Do hub centric rings need to be used with the Gen 4's. Mine came today with rings but was told by the dealer the wheels were lug centric and wouldn't be needed.

Thanks.

If you are using acorn lugnuts then it is lugcentric and rings are not needed. **** cepek wheels are the same way and I ran them on my old 2500HD GMC and never had an issue, even when pulling gooseneck trailers. 3/4 ton trucks are torqued to 140ft/lbs. If you have a 1/2 ton I would torque to around 120ft/lbs. Hell, old 70's and 80's GM trucks are only torqued to 85lbs. Re-check your torque after 50 miles and your good.

Mines a 1/2 ton so I'll go bout 120-130 then. The wheels were shipped with the lug covers on, are all those cap head screws used to hold the covers on? If not, how do I tell which ones do? Thanks

Its only two screws holding it on, they should all spin though, you will feel the two that come off they are tighter.
