Not sure where to put this put the the truck is 2017, looking to put led's behind the grille.
I have purchased a couple of led's and trying to determine why they are so much different.
One is a 6x3watt total 18 watt rectangular cube, 6000K color, 1980 lumens led, 30,000 hour. I have separate spot and flood lights. The spot is bright and looks like a nice beam. While the flood throws a volume of light for a short distance.
The other is a Alpena 4x4watt quad fire 16 watt total, 1500 lumens, 50,000 hour life that just blows the other one away.
Both are cree led's, why is the 16 watt so much brighter than the 18 watt? Both lights shine a nice spot but I would have thought 6x3 would be better than 4x4.
