Thanks for posting these! I guess I will have to find a different way to mount them if I did this as my spare is still in that spot. Did you wire them directly to the battery with a switch or simply tap into the reverse lights?

I was gonna mention that I don't run with my spare.

As of right now they are running off my trailer reverse circuit but I'm more than likely going to run a separate circuit either to my cargo or single switch so I can turn them on whenever.

Looks good man, I just did the same mod (still running the spare though). These suckers are bright!

Looks good! Back up lights were one of the best mods I've made.

What bulbs are your reverse lights? I like that brightness and color!

I mounted the same pods under the rear bumped on my power wagon and wired them to a 2 way switch inside the truck so that they either come on when I back up or can turn them on to use them as work lights when hooking and unhooking my trailer.

Hope you don't mind, OP. Pics aren't the greatest, I can get some more if it ever stops raining. I just bought a pack of cheap galvanized corner braces from Home Depot for about 3 bucks to use as brackets. Depending how they hold up over the winter I may get them powdercoated. They're plenty sturdy for cubes. As for wiring, just used the wiring harness that came with them (had to modify a little) and utilized my factory aux switch panel.

EDIT: DAMN sideways! Pics don't do them justice either, they are really tucked away and still bright as f.

Thanks for the extra pics. That's easy and perfect. I like that you ran those to aux as well so you can light up the world when you want to.
I have to do this but for multiple reasons:
1. Reverse to see better
2. For the ******* riding my bumper!!!!
3. Refer to #2

I plan on putting in reverse LEDs on a weekend this month. Cut small squares out of rear bumper (one on each side) and place the LEDs behind bumper for a flush-mount appearance. They should tie in nicely to the back up lights.

I prefer this higher mount to raise the level of the light. Should work great for trailer hook up and to maximize visibility with the back up camera.

Will work on lights up front too

Love mine and they help a lot especially now with it getting dark early.
