Looking at rims and tires

I have the option to get some 20" rockstar 2's with 305/55 nitto terra grappler tires for $1200.

Just not sure how they would look with my truck and the chrome on it. Rims are all black.

Not sure on the offset either. Maybe -24? Or -12?

What do you guys think?

Should look good with a little offset, whatever you decide. If you haven't already, I'd level it too.

IMO it won't look right with the chrome on that truck. Kinda like the unmarked police cars that are obvious because of the solid black steel wheels.

Really depends on what look your planning on going with. If your planning on keeping all your chrome on your truck then I'd say no on black rims but that's all just personal preference of course. That pic is trail grapplers btw not terras. If your planing on removing/ painting/ wrapping etc the chrome down the road AND you like that rockstar rim AND your going to get a level kit or lift, then go for it

Go online to a wheel visualizer, most wheel purchasing sites have them. Discountwheels.com I believe has one, that way you can see your truck with maybe not that exact rim but at least a flat/ satin black rim and help you decide

That was my thought also. I am looking into color matching the chrome.

The rockstar 2's I can change the fins and star to any color I want. I was thinking a chrome or a white color.

Thoughts?

That might work! A little contrast will be good in your situation. Can't beat the price.

are they 20x9 or 20x10 and what is the actual offset. If they are 20x10 with -24 mm offset they will stick out pretty far

Guy agreed to do $1,200 with me just 2 days ago. Now when I messaged him to make sure deal was still on for tomorrow he told me his wife needs $1,300 for them.

I told him we agreed on $1,200 for the setup and that's all I can do. He said can't do it.

What do you guys think? Pay the extra $100 for them? Just seems kind of ****** to agree to a price, then go up on it a day before the deal is suppose to happen.

Personally, if you are not 100% sure on them, I would not pay the extra $100. I agree, that is ****** that he is backing out on the deal. I would save your money and buy ones that you really want.

How much tread life do you have left on the g2's?

Also where are you from? If I purchase and we do a swap, shipping might be expensive haha.

He's fairly sure they are 20x9 with a -12 offset.
