MT's have kept me going every winter for 20 yrs here in North Jersey. Any good Mud Terrain tire is like a knobby dirt bike tire that just walks you right out of snow. Ice is ice. No tires have very much traction on ice. I drive in way more snow than ice. See pics. Running these all year on my 2500 CC 6.4 Hemi. Firestone Destination MT2's. They're 275/70x18. Still new, so not able to comment on wear. Had very good handling and wear with BF Goodrich Mud Terrains on last truck with 17" rims. ('09 1500 QC 5.7 Hemi). My .02 worth.
