I'm looking at getting some new Bushwhacker flares - Pocket style. I have a 2015 1500 Big Horn. Does the HEMI badge have to be moved or removed?

Also, how many of you have used a 3M tape (or similar product) to prevent long term paint markings? How well can you put straight tape on to follow the contour of the edge of the flares?

Thanks

You will not have to move the HEMI emblems, as far as the paint I don't know.

You can get some 1/4" 3M so you can follow the contour.

1/4" 3M clear bra can stretch and it's easy to bend into the curve you'll need.

Do bushwacker pocket flares have enough of a lip to put 3m tape? I know they are designed to have the rubber gasket on them though

Do they need the clear tape, I thought the rubber gasket prevented paint damage.

Over time you'll get dirt in between the rubber gasket and the body, which is what causes the paint damage. The PPF will help prevent that.

everyone I have seen on a Ram 1500 has either been removed or relocated due to the width of the pocket style flare
