About a year ago, I ended up buying my truck off my dad. Sadly, The reason he sold it to me is because Somebody hit him at a red light, Ruined the bumper, and blew all the rust out on the tailgate. Sure, It still works and all, But I'm tired of it looking like crap. Any ideas on where I can find a cheap Bumper at the least? If not a tailgate? Thank you

Your best bet is to start looking on craigslist. You can usually find used parts on there for cheap.

Believe me, that's the first place I checked. I was able to find a couple, but none that would fit the Sport model.

All body parts for that generation are the same, only difference would be paint and badging/decals

The rear bumper is the same...only difference is that the sport is painted. The chrome rear bumper and tailgate will still fit though.

too bad yer in MI......I have both I'd give ya...


tailgate has small dents up top where the previous owner backed into something, but not bad, and the bumper is chrome and tweaked slightly, but not as bad as what you have.....

mine are off a 3500 dually, but the tailgate is a 2500 version (no leds in the middle)
