Tinted tails Red

Here is the before...



Using a vinyl fine line tape i blocked off the reverse light section and laid down some red tint



Then removed the tape and cleared the whole light (you can see they still need the final sand and polish to be shiny enough)



Here is the result of the taping and me guessing at the actual shape of the reverse light

Then the final sanding before polishing



And after they are polished up...

When i do tinting, i dont paint in coats, i paint by feel so to speak, its a tint so you have to tint for coverage or desired effect, so i really dont have an answer for you, when it comes to tinting lights you just have to experiment to see what gives you what you're looking for
