Map light always on? 2016

I searched but couldnt find anything. At night, I noticed there is a small light shining down onto the front of the console. The light is by the sunroof controls. Is there a way to turn this off or is always on?

Try the interior panel light control wheel below your headlight switch on the left side of the dash.

I can turn mine off but when I do, I lose any control of the brightness of the instrument panel lights.

2015 sport, i have the little overhead LED too......its always on, shining down into the hole. I like it actually. Doesnt distract me, and is enough to light up whats in the console hole.
