Part number for console latch

Anyone happen to know the part number to the lid latch on a full console, the chrome has started to chip on mine and before I paint it, id like to see what a new one costs its a 2010 sport crew cab if it matters

Parts guy here. I actually just looked one of these up a week or two ago for someone. They don't list the latch separately for that year, I had to go up to a 2013 to get a part number for the upper latch itself, which is 68230371AA and lists for about 50 bucks (CAN). Keep in mind this is for a 2013 but I don't think anything is different about them.


Edit: that pn is for 'Full Length Floor Console', and it gives me another number for the upper latch for a 'Full Length Premium Console', which is 68230227AA, so it may depend on what console you have and tbh, I'm not sure what the difference is.

thanks I have the full length and they are the same, my friend has a 13 and i just compared them

I just now got confirmation from the other guy I looked it up for, also with a 2010, that part #68230371AA worked perfect for him. So that is the one I would look for. Good luck!

mine too, I replace it with chrome vinyl but it doesn't look the best

They must have changed something in 2011, because mine still looks like new and I use it a lot. I didn't even know it was an issue with them but I've now heard of a few with the handle peeling.

I think it's cheap quality my wife's 12 grand cherokee has chrome around the cup holders and those are peeling as well
