First 2016 in the 12's N/A - 12.88 @ 106.55MPH

On Saturday, we had a customer with a 2016 Ram R/T run a 12.88 @ 106.55MPH. He has a K&N intake with no filter, Moe's 87MM Throttle Body, ARH Longtube headers without cats, ATI 15% underdrive pulley, clutch fan delete, and Hemifever custom tune. He's running M&H 275/50/17 drag radials as well. Not bad at all for the few mods he has and the lack of prep...

Very nice ! These trucks will move! I need to get to the track . I have the same mods on a 15' RCSB except I have OBX headers.

6 mods are not much lol. I can assume when you say first for this or any other vehicle it would be people you meet or members here????

Those mods are not much for a 12 second N/A truck. In the days of the 3rd gens (and most of the 5 and 6sp 4th gens), guys would need everything possible as well as cutting as much weight as possible to try to get a 12.99 pass. Now we are doing it with simple bolt on parts and full weight.

First I'm aware of among every performance forum, facebook group, performance shop, or customer I have spoken to. There may be someone that has done it that does not post on any of the forums or social media, but feats like that usually get posted in 1 place or another.

excellent explanation on both counts. I have never known anyone that races a truck so were I come from sub 13 is just starting to move. On the posting of times I again know several racers that do not post on any forum, they are to busy in the garage figuring out how to slice off another 1/10th :favorites13:
