That borla sounds perfect really nice with that cam in there! I like that better than the magnaflow 22" on my 16869 kit. Is that an 18"? I love the silver as well same color as mine.

Its alive. Very happy with the idle, and part throttle feels great. Plenty of tq and very responsive. I haven't gone WOT yet, but it feels great so far.

Put the Borla Pro XS muffler on it yesterday. Kyle, here is a short idle clip for you with the new muffler. The sound level is comfortable in the cab, has a nice deep rumble to it outside, and you can still hear the chop from the cam. I'm very happy with this setup so far...

And this video is to show our progress on trying to dial it in for the track...Got tires?

I like it a lot! Whenever I get a newer muffler I'll be looking at that one or the 400486 which is their 19". Borla's sound so good.

The 400486 is actually the exact same muffler as the 40349. The only difference is that the 400486 you mentioned has notches cut into the inlet/outlets in case you wanted to clamp it on. If you want to weld it on, then you would want the 40349. They are the exact same dimensions otherwise.

Didn't notice that. Thanks!

These wheels/tires will be staying on the truck for near future...street ad strip. Be careful though because smaller tires like this do not have near the weight rating that a heavier truck needs. I have never had a problem running them on the street, but its a use at your own risk kind of thing.

If you want a safer front tire, I would look at the 245/70/17's.

Well, I had a brain fart yesterday. Got everything torn down, new heads installed, new cam is in, bolted everything back up, started putting fluids back in the motor, and coolant is dripping out of the front of the passenger side head. I screwed up and put the head gaskets on the wrong side.

So now I get to pull the heads again and switch the gaskets around :emotions122:

The gaskets are left and right? Aren't the heads both sides though? Or maybe that's just LS motors lol.

I just ordered another set of SST wheels for the front. I'm having them shipped to Weldcraft Wheels to be narrowed to 7" wide, so the setup should look killer when they are done.

I have wanted to narrow a set of SST's for a while now, but never convinced myself to pull the trigger.

Does the 400486 work to just replace the stock muffler bolt on wise without cutting.
