We are all well aware of the problems with the 2011 lifter issues eating cams.
I'm a little concerned about metal from the cam having floated around inside the engine for 10,000 - 20,000 miles being embedded into the bearings. Having cut open filters I have found a lot of metal in mine and this has me looking at replacing the engine with a manufactured one.
How many miles have you put on since your "rebuilt"?
Any and all thoughts appreciated, but let them be based on experience and reason.
