I just got my new 2017 Ram 1500 V6 and I enjoy it a lot. Just one concern and it could probably be normal to the truck I'm not sure but ever since I got it, shifting from anything to drive and accelerating just once on the pedal I feel something clicking/popping just twice. Only twice and it goes away never comes back and the drive is good and smooth. I am not sure if others have this experience, if it's normal or what really. Could be the shifting of the transmission or something since the guy selling the truck mentioned something about it being different. I figured out the buzzing sound on the brakes during park was normal too. If anyone can shed some light or provide any help that would be greatly appreciated!

Go show it to the dealership and have them test drive it with you so you can definitely make sure mechanic can hear that noise. My 2013 never did that. Good luck

could be bad pinion mesh? Theres a billion reason for a truck to make a noise. Let the Ram guys diag it, they will be much better than us guessing.

Hi greg4734,

Sorry to hear about this! If you end up deciding to visit your local dealership for further diagnosis I'd be happy to offer assistance if needed. Just send us a PM with your VIN and let me know.
