Mopar Limited Slip Differential for 2011-up Ram 1500 9.25ZF Axle

What does it take to install something like this?
Moe's lists 3 different units, any idea what makes one better than the other? Would like to find an easy to install in my driveway unit

No matter the kit you need very specific gauges to install a differential or it will chew itself up faster than you can imagine.

There are many different types of limited slips, clutched, all geared, lockers, torsen and so on. My money when I install will be a torsen based setup. No maintenance ever and work amazingly smooth.

Go with a Torsten/Worm gear LSDb4bfa26fce1a34344e9794f15110216a.jpg that's what's in my 15' 2500.
IMO they are better than the clutch style LSD, like what I had in my 01' Off-Road editiona56b7586d139c74127049f7f01d7f14c.jpg65356c1e0c162a35e4e8be8ea379e03d.jpg

Your options are small with the ZF axle. I installed a mopar unit in my 16 Rebel that I purchased from Moe's. I have ran them for years and never had any problems with them. Other than a torque wrench you will need the tool that reaches through the axle tube to loosen and tighten the side bearing caps, and a dial indicator to set your ring gear to pinion gear back lash from .006 to .008.
