oil filter relocation?

hey guys. I'm very interested in installing a Oil filter relocation kit in my 2014 ram 1500 sport. I've seen many guys install the trans dapt kit, but I would like to use the - 10AN fittings and braided lines. can someone chime in with part numbers to piece together a relocation kit or what braided lines and fitting they used with the trans dapt kit

Performance World #809010 is a 90 degree -10 fitting,i used 4.For hose about 4ft of whatever high pressure 5/8" (-10) hose the local speed shop has in stock,i wasn't wasting money on braided lines ,so I just went with a high pressure lined hose,that the local shop stocked.

Performance World #804510 is a 45 degree fitting,but I didn't like the way the hoses sat using a 45,so I used all 90's.

You can start with kit 1127,or just buy the filter adapters separate.I bought the adapters separate,but they weren't that much cheaper then buying kit 1127.Check out Kurtis's (Charonblk) build thread,he has pic's of his set-up and the hoses he used.

This is the kit I was looking at!

Need to really think about where I need to mount the filter base. I want the hoses as short as possible.

One set of 90° elbow fittings would be perfect coming off the engine base going to the filter base.

I might mount the filter base on the driver side since the 8HP70 filter base mount is on the passenger side.

It's really not that big of a deal since I only change my oil filter every other OCI which is once a year.
This mod might not ever happen.

That'll work good Syn,but your hoses will be excessively long if you mount the filter base on the drivers side frame rail.I'd re-think the mounting point if you want to run as short as possible hoses,and i'd upgrade the fittings and hoses to -10 / 5/8" .If you use the 3/4-16 fitting adapter in the remote mount,it opens it up to using a more common filter.

Thanks: Yup like I said my remote spin-on filter base for my 8HP70 is mounted on the passenger side. So if I ever chose to do this I will need to spend some time on my back under my truck. Looking for the best location.
