You can do this urself for about 120bucks.. and its plug and play..

For an aftermarket right. Not the factory remote start.

No, I hear the factory one is plug and play.

I use mine (aftermarket one) every day here in Arizona. When it's 120 outside, truck is 150 inside. I remote start it 5 minutes before I leave work and it's a comfortable 75 in the truck! Absolutely love it!!

You can do the OEM remote start for about 300 if you are moderately proficient with tools. I did my own for the OEM remote start, sucks taking apart pretty much the entire back of the cab lol but overall it's really straight forward. The only part that stinks is you have to get it programmed by the dealer or it wont work

Trying to get the right parts numbers seems to be a mess.

I've got keyless remote. 2016 Tradesman Crew Cab 4x2 6.4L 66RFE. What part numbers do I need and what's the procedure?

Remote Start. For 2016 Ram 3500 ST CREW CAB 4x2, 6.4L V8 Mid Duty HEMI MDS, 6-Spd Automatic 66RFE | Ram Parts Inc.

A new receiver & Key FOB? Programming?

I see kits like 82214424: 2015 Ram 1500 2500 Remote Engine Start RES OEM 82214424 | eBay .

But they are only 1500, 2500 and I don't see any 2016s.

The last link you posted in your edit is where I got mine from if that helps. You can also just call them and verify its the right kit for your specific year make and model and unless the kit changed it's not plug and play

I was talking aftermarket. Also, does ur AC work with the remote start? My cool air seats will, but the AC doesnt. Even if I leave it on Max AC it still just does the vent.

My ac works if I leave it on but I don't have the auto temp controls so it won't come on by itself if I don't. And I usually forget to leave it on lol

Check out "Doug43235" on ebay, he sells a kit which he claims is preflashed and doesn't require going to the dealer.

Also the dball ones on ebay are cheap, plug and play, and work with the factory keyfob.
