Today after driving 2.5 hours home today I noticed that when i got out of my truck that it smelt "hot" or "burnt." It didnt smell like burnt oil to my but more like when a car overheats and you can smell the antifreeze but not nearly as strong. All my gauges appeared to be within there normals and i have not check engine lights. I have the stock exhaust and have never modified it. It doesnt smell like an exhaust leak or like something dripped on it and is burning to me. I noticed it one other time so this would be the 2nd time if noticed it.
When i noticed it about 2 weeks ago for the first time i checked all my fluids and they all look appropriate and are at the correct levels.
Does anyone else truck smell hot after a long haul?
I dont even want to take it to the dealer cause i know they will run the computer and say "well there is no codes so there is nothing wrong with it... thats just how it is." But if someone else has had this issue i could refer to it.
