So last night i walked in the door and did a double take at a big beautiful box waiting for me. It was my vararam air grabber I ordered from DAP! First off the guys at DAP are cool as hell and very nice, speedy responses and very helpful with all my silly questions lol. So it took me about 20min to install it and the breather cap. Install was easy as ever. Even for me! I havent put but maybe 10miles on it so i havent made a definite opinion for it. Here are my pros n cons on the VR air grabber:
Pros:
Looks mean under the hood.
Makes my exhaust sound deeper and it seems to idle much louder n deeper too.
Install was simple, instructions were great n easy to follow.
Throttle response and gear changes seem much faster n smoother.
Cons:
It sits kind of flimsily.
After about 3rd it seems kind of like the OEM intake, but i need more miles on it to really judge it.
Made wife upset lol.

Overall:
Had a great experience with DAP and with instal it seems legit and looks good. Cantvwait to play with it some more!

Congrats on the VR and just tell your wife that it improves fuel economy and that should help with the understanding.

Lol glad you're so happy with it man! I installed mine last week and have the exact same con list. Especially upsetting the lady haha. The most annoying part to me Is the flimsy fit but oh well, I still love the acceleration it provides.

I look at it as a flexible fit allowing it to conform to each unique hood. It is secure enough to not fall off but not so stiff that you have to worry about the hood or other items damaging it.

That's a very good way to think about it. I never thought that way before, that makes me feel a little better about it haha

Yea thats a good view on it! Could someone take a pic of theirs where it fits in rront of the radiator? I moved my wiring harness in front of the horn but it fits so tight against the big block connector that sits on the bracket idk if i like that, maybe i didnt move everything eight, does anyone else have this prblem?

I waited like 2-3 weeks for my BT catch can only because of all the back orders though Moe's Performance but last I saw they were caught up on cans.

This ^^^
It's flimsy, till you shut your hood.
I tested mine (grille off and hood shut) and it was a right fit.

But valth, that is for the business and looking forward to helping you further :D

We have plenty of cans in stock if anyone wants one.

Our limited time pricing is still available at $104.99
Pricing to be going up in a week or so
