Hi all! I am totally new to this forum thing and Ram trucks as well. Hope someone can help! I am replacing a leaking strut on my 08 1500 4X4 and had to cut the bolt after all attempts to remove it were unsuccessful. I have replaced the bushing in the control arm and my local dealer cannot come up with a part number for the bolt. Does anyone have the Mopar number for this bolt? Has anyone tried using a generic grade 10.9 16mm bolt? Thanks!

Thanks Redram 2007! I ended up going to the scrap yard and picked up a couple of mint bolts and nuts for $5. Our dealer here was no help at all. I gave him these numbers and he claims they are all numbers for the nut! We all know that he's wrong. The old-timer at the scrap yard told me that the dealer regularly comes in for these bolts. Anyway, I'm back on the road. Thanks Again!

Not a problem. I call the dealer up with the part name or number and they tell me its not right or its for something else. Although i have the pdf parts manuals and verify everything online first. I still have them order the part number i need and to theyre surprise its the part i needed lol.

I came up with the numbers off of factorychryslerparts.com (Cherokee Dodge Chrysler Jeep) I believe they are in Georgia. They have really good diagrams and are straight forward. Next time I go to the dealership with a number I will ask to see the physical part that goes with my number. Thanks again & Take Care!
