Thought I read somewhere that the 03 and early 04's had some issues. Late 04's were supposedly reworked.

Here's what I read in the bullet. "The lifter issue when they would break was in 03 and early 04's. They fixed that late 04's. But they still have a tick. I have seen some not have it and change oil and it start coming in. Then some don't never get it and so on. But most people cheap on the oil and don't run a synthetic and that's usually when you can hear it. Exhaust stud's also are a common problem,but all i have seen you can take and remove by hand if they are broke and just replace them. Usually when they break it will make the heat shield rattle."
