Will the struts off a four wheel drive work on a two wheel drive, i noticed the frame has the holes for the struts.

I really don't believe so. I'm pretty sure 4x4 use a coil over while 4x2 use spindles, coil springs and shocks (which is why you can't use bilstiens on 2wd)

Frame is not the same. SOrry, thats why its a pain in the ass to move from a 2wd to 4x4 even with all the parts off a truck.

As far as the front I doubt it, the rear shocks are the same types of mounts tho. IDK that anyone has ever tried.
