I’ve got a 2019 Tradesman 4X4 off road with the 5.7 Hemi. It’s my daily driver and road trip, backcountry adventurer.

I want to lift it and run 35’s for better off road performance when I go on my annual trip to Big Bend.

I want to run the stock aluminum wheels and I want some performance out of it not just looks. By performance I mean wheel articulation and bump absorption.

I’m o k with running a 29570R18 which is like a 34.2 IC that keeps the lift height nominal and allows for better wheel articulation.

What size lift do I need?

Do I need a UCA replacement/upgrade?

Please share your thoughts on lift kits and shocks/struts etc.

You can probably just level the front to run 35’s but might have some rubbing with the stock wheels.
Uca’s would be a good idea if you can but there are plenty of people using the stock uca’s. My original setup leveled with 35’s

Thanks for the feed back.
What tires are those you’re running in the pic?

They are Nitto’s, I have Mickey Thompson’s now, really like them.

For what it’s worth here’s how I answered my own question…

I went 2” Readylift level kit with serviceable tubular replacement UCA’s with 285/65/R18 (34.8”x11.2”) Nitto Ridge Grapplers on stock 18” aluminum wheels.

No trimming
No rubbing

Will upgrade suspension after I wear out the stock.

I would double check your tires, because they are definitely bigger than 285/65r18 (32.6"x11.2"). They're probably 285/75r18. Those match the measurements you have.

They look great though. Gives me another tire size option for when I do my lift. :driver:

I really like the Nitto Ridge grapplers.

This is the 1st set on this truck but the 3rd set I’ve owned.

They have a well wearing durometer. I get a lot of life out of them daily driving them on the pavement to the job site and work well in the desert terrain of Big Bend (Texas) where I make an annual trip.

Looks good!

35’s fit with no lift.

What lift did you go with?

2” Front with an 18x9 or 20x9 wheel with a +12 offset allows a full 35x12.5 tire. Depending on how your truck came from the factory the small plastic guard needs to be trimmed.
