I'm new on this board but I like the way it's set up. I'm thinking about a zone 3" BL. As my truck has new 285/70/17 BFG rugged terrain tires I don't want it too high. I'm thinking about the BL then lowering the rear spring blocks to get it closer to level. I'm afraid of the CV angle caused by the leveling kits even though I bought one from HBS. (never installed though)
Has anybody tried this? Any pics?

The leveling kit will change your change your CV angle yes, but not to the degree that you'd have to worry. Several members on here run just a leveling kit and have had no issues. I ran a leveling kit for a while with 35's with some trimming, and then added a body lift. I just recently got rid of the leveling kit. If you'd like I can post some pix for you.

Sure shoot me some pics. I stuck a floor jack under the front of my truck and raised it 2" to see what the spacers would accomplish. It looked like it changed the CV angle though.

Wow what I would give for my truck to look like 'The Assassin' before the custom paint...fender flares are so freakin expensive though

The body lift would definitely look good. That's what I want to do to mine down the road too.

Right now I run a 2.5" leveling kit and haven't had trouble with the change in the cv angles.

I ended up doing a shock swap and went with the Bilsteins. I guess the BL is on hold for now. It's still on the stove , just a back burner.

I've done the bilsteins as well and was looking at a 4" lift but there is now way I'm spending that much money. This really has me thinkin about a body lift. The only thing I've never liked about body lifts is lifting the body and letting the frame show.
Is the frame mostly hidden by those side steps?

As I understand it, the frame is pretty much hidden without steps except in the wheel houses. They make a splash guard that hides that problem. The biggest eye sore is the exhaust pipe that is still stock height.

Well my exhaust is a little high for my taste anyways so I may have to get this done.
What is the best body lift to use? Or at least a good quality one?
